Thanks Pugsy. I looked at those covers and was considering waiting until Friday and ordering one with overnight shipping Saturday delivery for $125, but then decided the $5 regular shipping isn't bad.

I've decided the same thing you said, it's better to have another option for the same price. And I really don't mind the For Her look. It's not like many people are going to see what I have on the side of my bed.

I'm waiting for my DME to get back to me on my cost before doing anything, but I know what to ask for. Thanks to all for the input.

No, it isn't "just an s9 turned on its side". As already mentioned it has several features the older S9 does not.
The Autoset has the same algorithms as the S9. The S9 has wireless data transfer available.

Yes, it'll store more data, which is nice.

Can get updates, but that's exceedingly rare.

Auto Ramp... whooptedoo.

It's essentially the same machine... whereas the difference in the s8 autoset and the s9 autoset functionality was huge.

Just to follow up. My DME called and said my insurance covers 100% of a new machine (may have a $35 copay) but I need a new Rex. I have a regular Dr appointment in a couple weeks so hopefully I can get it then.

When you get the doctor to write that new RX...if you want a specific model make sure he writes it for that model and marks the Dispense as Written box. That way the DME can't try to give you something you don't want.
The plainer and more specific the RX....the better.

Fred, the one other advantage of the A10 over the S9 is that the travel case is smaller. So even if you take the whole machine instead of just the S9 without the humidifier, it is smaller. It also has Velcro straps on the back of it to slip over the extension handles of a wheeled travel bag.

Just to finish this thread, I got my new ResMed Autoset 10 for her today. It took an extra week since they didn’t bother writing down my request and had a Dream machine ready for me. I refused that and asked for what I wanted, they ordered it and had it in a week. Zero copay on the insurance, I can use a lot of my old S9 supplies, I’m happy.

OK..Besides filters and the slimline hose, what S9 supplies do you think you can use with the Airsense?
