I'll buy a new one tomorrow. They're cheap.
Here is what ResMed say about the card requirements. I suspect the IEC 60601-1 requirement is to convince you that you have to buy their card. The other requirements are probably valid. My AirSense 10 came with a 4 GB card. After a week or so, it has about 20 MB used out of 4 GB. Ideally get one like that. Stay away from the HC and XC versions.

This card works fine the the AirSense machines and it's about the smallest GB you can get unless you go online somewhere.

I know this for a fact...it's what I use in my AirSense machine.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Welcome to the forum.

Get SleepyHead.
https://sleep.tnet.com/equipment
and see my SleepyHead tutorial top of the Announcements page...first post mainly for now.
My new Resmed AS10 did not come with an SD card which I see is posted in the Tips n Tricks section of your Sleephead link. So I popped in my own clean and formated 16MB SD card and it gave me the prompt that it was preparing the card and to wait.....well I waited and waited. For 10 minutes. Nothing. Tried it all again....nothing. I recall asking the lady at the place where I picked up the device about the SD card section and she kind of "ignored my question". Could they have disabled the SD card reading capabilities??

I downloaded Sleepyhead and I'd like to get info to share but it's not possible right now. Any ideas?
The interesting data gets written directly to the SD card while the machine is in operation, so, put the card in, and sleep.. then pop it out and read the data.

Just noticed that my ResMed brand SD card that came with my AirSense 10 says HC on it! So much for their recommendations...

No, there's no feature on these machines that will disable using the SD card functions.

Do you have a different SD card you can try?

I have NO idea what these mean.... I can tell you that if it means I feel like hell after using this machine, then it's correct.

So upset this isn't working better.

I'm calling the home Medical place and asking for the "pillows" nose headgear right now to see if that is any better?

HELP PLEASE.

First of all, you do not have a treatment problem. Your AHI is low. What is strange however is that your pressure keeps going up and up, with no events flagged that would be causing it to go up. It could be that snore and flow limitations are initiating the ramp up in pressure, or something else. In any case you do not need improvements for better treatment, you need them for comfort. I would suggest some setting changes for your machine to improve the comfort level:

Increase minimum pressure to 7.6 cm
Put your Ramp in Auto, and set Ramp Start at 6.6 cm
Leave maximum pressure at 15 cm for now, but it may be possible to reduce it later to improve comfort
Set EPR to 3 - to make it easier to breathe
Ensure EPR is selected to Full Time

That is about it. I would suggest again that you try a nasal pillow mask like the AirFit P10. It also should help with comfort. Since your mouth is not covered, it help a lot with the claustrophobic feeling. You CAN open your mouth at any time, but doing so also can reduce the effectiveness with mouth leaks. However, you have essentially no events, so you have a lot of room to reduce the effectiveness of your treatment. It is about comfort, so you can stick with it.

Please read my SleepyHead Layout Tips link below. All of those charts you posted are not really that helpful. All that is needed is an optimized daily detail screenshot with the following if the screen allows space. In this order

Event Flags (pinned)
Pressure
Mask Pressure
Flow Limit.
Snore
Flow Rate
Leak Rate

You aren't getting enough hours of sleep for one thing and your sleep that you do get is fragmented for whatever reason.

Your AHI for when you do use the machine..quite decent...and leaks are minimal.

Your pressure is varying quite a bit...lots of big changes and that in itself might be affecting sleep quality.

If you are having mask fit or comfort issues...that can affect sleep quality.

Anything that affects overall hours of use and sleep quality can make you feel like crap.

Your Flow limitation graph...a bit active but not horribly ugly but I wouldn't be happy with it if it was mine.

Without knowing more of your specific issues...and based on the FL graph...and what the machine is doing in terms of pressure changing..
Only thing I can think of is increasing the minimum pressure...to maybe 7 and see if the FLs reduce and the big pressure changes reduce and see if sleep quality improves.

I would NOT start messing with Auto Ramp unless you just can't stand starting at 7 comfortably.
It's not 100% what it's cracked up to be.

I prefer to review reports the way I outlined in this thread. Your choice.
viewtopic/t158560/How-to-post-images-for-review.html
Makes my job easier.

EPR...that's your choice but as you increase EPR you will most likely need to increase the minimum pressure.
I don't advise making more than 1 change in anything at a time because if you make multiple changes you won't know which change might have helped or not.
Remember Science 101....keep experiment variables to a minimum so you can best evaluate the results.

I would start with just changing that minimum to 7 if it were me. See what happens and then evaluate other potential changes.

Take a hard look at what is causing the wake ups and low sleep hours in general...it might be something unrelated to the machine settings. Not everything can be fixed by tweaking the settings.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm going in after work to pick up an AirFit P10.

My biggest issues are waking up in the middle of the night with the mask blasting full force air in my face. I think it's a fit issue once the mask gets dislodged. Now when I wake up and take the mask of I want the blasting air to stop. But it wasn't. I had to reach over and press the Start/Stop button on top. So then I put the mask back on and wait for the air to slightly come back on (just like when I get into bed for the night) however it seems like the pressure is way too high. I looked at the ramp and it said 5.0, but feels like 10! This happened a couple of times. I simply want to put the mask/nose piece back on and gently have air come back in when I start breathing again. But it's not happening.

Now a couple of nights after I woke up I simply did NOT put the mask back on. Which you can see from the charts.

Personally I want my air coming in nice and gentle. I think what's causing me issues is that I may be waking when the pressure is high and it's very alarming. It then causes me apprehension and doubt. Plus anxiety slightly settles in and frustration. Especially at 3am!!

thanks for the help. I'd like to make this work.

(Side note) We may have power outages in Michigan due to ice storms. No power to no CPAP. I guess I'm lucky I'm a mild case?

Let's see if the new P10 mask helps you with the air issues.
As you can tell by the graphs...when you stop the machine and turn it back on it isn't blasting away despite it feeling that way.

Don't change anything at all until you try the new mask. How if feels is going to be totally different than how the full face mask feels.

Remember Science 101....keep those variables limited as much as possible so you can best evaluate the results.
Too many changes and you won't know which change did what....good or bad.
