Problems with F & P Flexfit Mask 405

Post by Yoga » Fri Oct 22, 2004 6:19 pm

I like the fit of the headgear with the F & P Flexfit 405. However, I do not feel that I am getting enough air and feel tired after using it.

When I use the Nasal Aire I mask, I feel good after using it. However, I have to switch to the other mask when the inside of my nose rebels.

The machine I have is a Respironics Pro w/C-flex.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with the F & P Flexfit 405 mask? Would increasing the pressure help?

Hi Yoga,

I use the Fisher Paykell Flexfit 405 from time to time and love it. I don't see any issue with less air comming in the mask. It does however feel different using a nasal mask instead of using a nasal prong device like the Nasal Aire.

If you are in doubt, take your mask to your local sleep lab and ask them to take a look. Just to be safe.
