Re: Ask Eminem about Ambien
Still will not stop those rationalizing and in denial about using it from singing its praise. Please don't be quite so quick to tar Ambien users as addicts in denial. Obviously what happened to Eminem indicates that some people get into trouble with it. But it doesn't sound like he was abusing it o...

Re: Ambien addict
I've been taking Ambien everynight for over a year. I'm not an addict, just have a brain malfunction that keeps me from reaching stage 3 & 4 sleep. I'd be open to other suggestions to help. The doc's feel so bad for me, they prescribe 90 at a time with no objections. I have gained a lot of weight f...

Have had the same problem of removing mask in my sleep. I think the major reason may have been nasal congestion in the middle of the night. For complex biochemical reasons I've read about but don't really understand well enough to attempt to explain, it seems that congestion peaks around 3 - 5 a.m. ...

I've got an apap and have used Nasal Aire II from the beginning. Flower51, since you have one, could you please tell me if it seems like the NAII hoses could be directed up over the head, e.g. are they pliable enough to train that way? And does it look like there would be any barrier to shortening ...

Nasal Aire II modifications?
Can the Nasal Aire be modified so that the tubes run up to the top of one's head instead of around it? From picture it looks quite possible -- just add another strap across the top of head and direct the tubes upward by fixing them to it? Was told my sleep doctor DOES NOT recommend the Nasal Aire be...

Autos: leaks & UARS
Do autoPAP machines respond to interface leaks by raising or lowering pressure? How well do autoPAP's deal with UARS? Am wondering if their algorithms are designed to deal with apnea and might be confused when UARS is more significant. Is there anything to look out for when buying or using an auto f...

As policy, no CPAP Manufacturer takes returns directly from customers. All returns must be brought back to the company it was purchased from and forwarded to the manufacturer from there. My health insurer told me that they would not reimburse me for a CPAP purchased from an on-line provider as "if ...

Have you considered having a fan on in your room all the time so that you get used to some background sound (white noise) that helps cover the sound of the mask? ARRGH! Masking noise with more noise! Have sweated through many a sweltering night rather than endure the noise of the quietest fans. But...

have to say that I like Breeze the best Thank you for being so detailed about why various interfaces work or don’t work for you. Any chance you’ve noticed sound variations with the Snapp? Variations in noise level/type during the night are turning out to be a significant factor for me. Am so sensit...

Re: Doesn't seem like the SNAPP is very popular
The two masks that you guys have been mentioning most are the Breeze and the Swift. I like that the Swift does not break the sightline at all. I do not like having a tube on one side that means that if you wear the tube up, you cannot sleep on that side. Mike, I started with the Breeze, fought with...
