OK, taking another look at this: Down at the bottom of the Device Manager list, I find: Universal Serial Bus Controllers & and within that category: ALi PCI to USB Open Host Controller & USB Ro...

You DID choose USB in the preferences, right? You mean while running that setup program found under while doing the step you describe above? If so, yes. Was there another place I was supposed to choose USB too? (Never assume there is anything so elementary or obvious that I couldn't possibly have m...

On the Encore Pro CD, there is a subdirectory called "Smart Card Readers". There is a file in named setup.exe that will install the Infineer/Mako drivers. You'll want to choose the DT3500 (USB) option when it asks you. Reboot if it asks you to (can't remember), plug in your reader, and go. Start En...

Does other items work when plugged in to usb? You may have to go device manager and be sure the usb ports are active, down at bottom of device manager. Never plugged anything else into either USB port. Also, with windows xp, you have to have the service pak loaded to load the uddated usb drivers . ...

You can kick me if this is too elementary, but did you try to load the card into the reader, double click on your name as the patient to take you to the next screen and then choose "Download Data" from the left side? At that point you choose "Smart Card Reader." You mean like actually see if it mig...

Honestly, I can't see how this wouldn't work for anyone, but then you can ask people like WillSucceed who didn't like the Aura at all. RG mentioned that WillS's problem with Aura was rain-out. Think I recall that you don't use heated settings on your humidifier, so that would limiit the amount of c...

Re: Should I get a humidifier?

Please share your thoughts. Do I need a humidifier and, if so, should I get the passover kind or a heated one? Seems like a lot of people here like heated humidifiers. However I've only tried my RemStar heated humidifier on a heat setting for a few nights since getting it on July 1 of this year. Pe...

I am amazed that you can sleep with the tube under your cheek. You must sleep like a log. I could never have that under my face at night. I believe you will do well with just about any mask if you can tolerate that. I wish I had your tolerance when it comes to something like that. Not at all! I'm a...
