Snore Detection
So what is the machine detecting that would classify a snore........Is it detecting a larger and quick breath in or ? i will have maybe 3 to 4 of these on my sleepyhead graph.....So it got me to thinking, what does the machine detect that classifies it as a snore....

It looks at the flow rate wave form and if it see's repeated jaggedness of a certain frequency it calls it snoring. The exact details for how each machine determines and flags events are all proprietary. Usually the machine will include some brief descriptions within their user or clinician manual.

What I would want to know is whether these detected "snores" would really bother a bed partner.
