DME Shenanigans

Ok, anyone ever had a DME company pretend to lose a check in payment for a machine?

Ask your bank for confirmation that it has been cashed.
(((Stuff gets lost from the mail all the time.)))
If it has not gone through, stop payment, and rewrite the check.
If it has been processed, confront the DME with the proof.
Mention filing a police report.
