Post by Krisfranks » Sat Feb 17, 2018 10:13 am

Hello everyone,
I've been on cpap since June 29,2017,and have been 100%
Complaint, not and easy go at first, but can't sleep without it now.But here's my problem,I still feel like crap, sleepey all the time, still take naps,NO sudden burst of wonderful energy, started pressure of 12 at first, still having high hypopneas 27,30,20,but obstructing were ok sometimes alittle high maybe around 14,but only once or twice over all AHI 2.1 or lower, had the flu hypopnea was 175,I freaked!i should not forget to say that my sleep lab finally upped my pressure to 13,nothing still feel like crap, then I saw sleep PA 2months ago,we switched over to Autocpapwithcflex, did not work, saw sleep PA yesterday,we are doing another sleep study, using BIPAP,so my question is have any of you all had better results with BIPAP??

Without seeing your data, it is impossible to know if you need a bi-level machine.
The best thing to do is to look at your data using the three links below. The forum can help you understand.

But I would still like to hear from anyone who has had a successful story with bipap after exhausting every other hurdle with cpap

I think that even on a phone, you can at least complete your profile so we know what kind of equipment you're using.

If you have a DreamStation, you can download the app to most phones. I suspect that the same is true with recent ResMed products.

He suspects for sure. It's better to get your current machine set up correctly, Yes a computer is needed it runs the better programs that read the data and you can post pictures of the screen, you could do that with the phone maybe but you need good data to post.

Throwing a Bi-PAP at it has two faults, it's costly unless you need it, and much harder to set up correctly, (many variables). So simple first, K.I.S.S works best. Jim

Out of that wall of rambling, incomprehensible text, all I get is "100% compliant, feel like crap"

Compliance means NOTHING if the treatment isn't *effective*... it's like wearing the wrong pair of glasses... no matter how long you wear them, you still can't see.

If you put a space after every comma it will make your posts seem less run on. Good luck with the BPAP retest. Jim

At least it's not half caps, half lower case---AND assorted fonts/colors!
That one was a headache to try reading.

I read the first post, hmm, okay, but now my head hurts.
Somebody with a harder head--take this one.
I cannot.
