CBD Oil

Anyone using CBD Oil for sleep? I'm hear that it's a wonderful sleep aid, works really well.

I am currently trying CBD but not in the oil form. So far the jury is still out. I can't tell that it is doing all that much in terms of sleep.
Still playing with the dosage though...maybe I just need a higher dose. I started small and working up on the dosage. Still in the early stages of my trial though.

There's probably a FB group dedicated to CBD Oil users. They will probably know re: dose. Sounds very promising.

There are several groups I think and wait until 49er on the forum comes by...she's also trying it and further along in her experiments than I am.
I got slowed down because of other things in my life and I am behind on the dosage experimenting. I haven't given up...I am still in the very low dose stage.

Dosage is going to vary between people though...they can offer ideas and get you maybe close but the end result is that each person is going to maybe be different from the next person and each person will have to play with the dose to see what their body responds to.
Pretty much like any drug we might take.
Even if you go to CBD websites and ask about dosage there is no "set" recommended dosage schedule. There are some approximations and suggestions but nothing is set in stone.

It is obviously not cheap but actually, this company has some of the cheaper prices, believe it or not. What you might want to do is order a sample pack for $25.00 to test different types to see what works for you before committing a lot of money.

The dosage is a "your mileage will vary" type of deal. I started small but have worked up to around 65mg. For various reasons, I am beginning to wonder if I need to cut back and will see what happens tonight when I make a small cut.

My advice would be stick with whatever product you chose for at least two to four weeks before deciding it doesn't work. And if it doesn't, there are plenty of other products to chose from.

It definitely is helping me sleep. I am concerned about the quality but that may have more to do with other issues and not the oil. As soon as I take it, I am out immediately.

How about staying asleep? About how many hours a night are you sleeping?

4 hours. BUT------

I am still doing the split shift routine that I have talked about in our emails meaning I fall asleep at 7pm for about three to four hours without taking anything. Up for a few hours and then take the CBD oil to go back to sleep. Yes, I have tried many things to consolidate sleep to no avail. I am very frustrated but am not giving up.

It may look like the CBD oil isn't helping but previously, when I tried to go back to sleep without taking the Temazepam, I couldn't. Now the oil lets me do that. And getting off of this drug has greatly improved my balance as balance issues are a noted side effect of this med.

I know I haven't given a sterling success story but I think it is worth a shot to try for sleep particularly since I was able to get off of Temazepam. But obviously, everyone has to make their own decision as to what to do.

Any more questions?

My sentiments exactly. Don't even bother!

Folks...just in case any of you all are wondering...this CBD oil is legal in all states as long as it doesn't have the THC part of marijuana...the part of the drug that causes the psychotic stuff...the "high".
CBD oil by itself won't give you the "high" because it doesn't have THC in it. This is not medical marijuana or anything like that.
