Nasal Pillow recommendations
I now use a ResMed Swift™ FX nasal pillow and it seems to work better for my swollen nasal passages at night.
The only problem I have is that the head gear seems to wander a lot and I find my self waking to fix.
ResMed Mirage Swift™ II Nasal CPAP Mask Pillows I also have this I'm going to retry But I have had to ty rap the hose to the headgear in 2 places because it would flop
For years I used the ResMed Ultra Mirage™ II Nasal as my standard but I have been having the swollen closed passage problem for awhile so I switched to the pillows and that seems to be more focused on keeping the direct pipeline to each nostril.

Re: Nasal Pillow recommendations
I have had good luck using the F&P Brevida. Very comfortable, no sore spots, and virtually no leaks unless I bury my head when side sleeping. As with all masks, YMMV of course.

Re: Nasal Pillow recommendations
I used the ResMed Swift LT for 7 years. Very good. Periodically I had to readjust the straps to get it to seal properly (the rear strap was more important than the top). I would usually wake once or twice a night to reseal the pillows.
Since June I have been using ResMed P10. I love it. No adjustment necessary. I don't think I have ever had to reset the seal. Still using the original pillow.

Re: Nasal Pillow recommendations
I just started F&P Brevida and seems like it’s the most leak proof so far. My resmed P10 would leak like crazy. I’m a side sleeper and toss from side to side. P10 would leak several times during night.

Interesting as I am also a side sleeper. Did you try different pillow sizes?cub4bearin wrote:I just started F&P Brevida and seems like it’s the most leak proof so far. My resmed P10 would leak like crazy. I’m a side sleeper and toss from side to side. P10 would leak several times during night.

Re: Nasal Pillow recommendations
Yes I did but the way p10 is design that if I pressed my side face too deep into pillow, it would shift the p10 abs it would start leaking. Brevida on other hand inflates around your nostrils and holds steady in sytuations like above.TedVPAP wrote:Interesting as I am also a side sleeper. Also, p10 headgear would stretch too much and I would have to start using their oval shaped clips to tighten it up. It simply wasn’t working in my case.

Re: Nasal Pillow recommendations
I was using a small firm pillow to avoid any side pressure on the Swift LT pillows. When I switched to the P10 I also switched to My Pillow which is also firm and doesn't impact the P10 mask. Maybe that explains why our experiences are different. Makes sense since the P10 "straps" are just rubber bands.cub4bearin wrote:Yes I did but the way p10 is design that if I pressed my side face too deep into pillow, it would shift the p10 abs it would start leaking. Thanks for the info.

Re: Nasal Pillow recommendations
There are only two sizes (XS/S & M/L) and they are similar in overall size with the major difference being in the diameter of the holes feeding into the nostrils. The M/L is what I use and find it a useful blend of the P10's M & L pillow sizes. In terms of stability, I think the Brevida is brilliant - the top of the pillow (the rounded point of the pyramid) fits very comfortably over the tip of the nose and the two wings anchor the pillow with very effective buttresses when inflated. The material is very soft and the conical shape of the pillow interface is slightly longer than the P10 and somewhat straightened to allow a more forgiving connection with the interior of the nostrils. With the diffuser in place the Brevida is among the quietest masks I have ever used. While being incredibly simple, the headgear is very adjustable - far more than the P10 (a virtually universal complaint about the P10).TedVPAP wrote:Interesting as I am also a side sleeper.
