I looked.
I respectfully note that it is quite lengthy, and not particularly helpful.
Thank you for trying.

It is a bit lengthy but it covers a wide variety of issues and not just OSA titration.
The author has also elected to use large fonts/images and that takes up space and creates more pages.
It's actually a very helpful piece of work especially for establishing the whys of why we do something for those people with special needs.
It's been written mainly for RTs in the medical field to help the sleep techs get a good titration...it was never really written for us lay people in mind.

In terms of medical documents and instructions it's probably considered "short"
There is of course a lot of stuff that doesn't really pertain to plain jane OSA but we have to skim through the stuff that doesn't apply to us and target the basics for OSA titration which are actually fairly simple and don't really need a lot of explanation.

I didn't read the entire document but from what I saw I thought it was well written and to the point and with sufficient explanation. Remember it was designed for RTs who already have a substantial medical background that we as lay people probably don't have.
The bulk of the document is not targeted for those of us with plain jane vanilla OSA.
Education is not always brief and will often require a LOT of reading and sometimes it is complicated reading but wouldn't be complicated if we had the medical knowledge that a RT would already have.

Even the "education/expertise" of RT's in the employ of a certain DME ?

Yeah...well someone has to pay the bills.

If I can get useful information I don't really care where it comes from.
In the above document there are no links or promotions the website where the RT is apparently employed. It was more of a statement of verification of who the person was and what that person did for employment than it was a promo for the business itself. Not unlike a doctor writing a paper and listing where he worked and what fancy letters he might have after his name and such. To me not a big deal.

I didn't for one minute think that the document was an excuse to promo the sleep center.
No links...and nothing that would make me want to dig further into the Sleep Wellness place of business and nothing requiring me to do that for additional information.

I only meant that some RT's are not as smart/helpful as others;
and we might be able to guess where they are most likely to work.
I did not notice any promotion in the technical paper.
The author of the paper seems to be head and shoulders above most I have met.
(And way smarter than me!)

My sleep center seems to be following what is in that link. Always great to have the info on what is standard to make sure you're getting the right treatment.

What I read seems to mirror what I have seen in other documents from other sources including ResMed and Respironics.
In some ways it is presented in a bit easier to understand format which is nice.
We have to remember that these sort of documents weren't ever really meant to educate the general public on how to self titrate.
The RTs at the sleep centers would be out of a job if we did that.

This clearly is not in the style of a typical "white paper" with long sentences and paragraphs of dense verbiage. The document in question has the look and feel of a Power Point presentation supporting an in-service for RTs or supporting non-specialists. Essentially it is a collection of bullet points supporting an oral presentation. Each page presents a single idea with no more than 5 illustrative points to support it. There are no long sentences and what jargon or technical terminology used is supported by brief definitions and examples of usage determining factors. Personally, I found the entire document to be very lucid and presented to support a compact and tightly organized learning environment. Had it been presented within a chapter in a text book it would have encompassed only a small portion of the space, but would have been much more cumbersome to wade through.
