Missing detailed data

Post by bjrigley » Sat Jan 13, 2018 10:03 am

I just received a resmed 10 autoset. First two nights downloaded detailed data from my SD card but the machine did not have detailed data last night...third night. What could of happened? I find the detailed data very useful...big reason along with the auto feature I went with this machine. Card was inserted before the session last night .Pulled the card out like I did the other nights after the session...downloaded it this morning...only summary data...confused. I would appear for some reason detailed data was not recorded. My question is can this be affected remotelyAny thoughts?

How long did you wait this morning after you turned your machine off before you removed the SD card from the AirSense 10 machine?

Does it offer you any data at all? Summary data but no graphs?
If no summary data...Put the SD card back into the cpap machine...watch to make sure it reads the SD card...when it is done pull it and try importing again and see if you get summary data.

You may have write-protected the card. When I insert my SD card into my Mac laptop, I first flip its switch to write-protect, because Sleepyhead downloads the data MUCH faster that way. Two days ago, after downloading data to Sleepyhead, I moved the SD card back into my machine still write protected. Next morning, summary data only.

My AS 10 periodically fails to write to the card. I just live with it. I suspect the quality of the SD card device is not very good. Mine also does not click into place anymore, I just use the door to hold it in place.

An sd card slot will deteriorate with constant use. Take a look a the toshiba flashair cards and the flashpap software will allow you to download your data to sleepyhead over your local WiFi so you don’t need to keep removing the card from your machine.

Good news....worked this morning...appears a one night hiccup. Thanks for all the good suggestions. Will check out the wifi sd card....seems like a great solution.

I am surprised that those mechanisms do not wear out more quickly.
I just had to replace the charging cords on TWO devices--
and phones/tablets are intended to be charged frequently!
From what we know about Resmed, they only designed the sd card to be removed once a year
--if ever! Daily data in NOT their intent.
