From the CDC website,.....
"People with flu can spread it to others up to about 6 feet away. Most experts think that flu viruses are spread mainly by droplets made when people with flu cough, sneeze or talk. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Less often, a person might also get flu by touching a surface or object that has flu virus on it and then touching their own mouth or nose."
That's what happened to me with the old lady in the restroom. I didn't touch a thing in there with my bare hands and scrubbed my hands and still got sick.
She coughed her germs out all over the bathroom.. and I inhaled them. While I was waiting and listening to her hack her lungs up I knew I wasn't touching anything...I should have just left the restroom but I was about to pee my pants and there was no other choice. It was one of those unisex restrooms...if there had been a man's restroom available I would have exited and snuck in there.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
If you want to try the Eclipse mask and want a special promo code to get a little off the price...send me a private message.

My doctor's office has masks available, ostensibly for anyone there
who is coughing/contagious.
Since that person was not using one, it would seem appropriate for others to grab one.

Flu is most commonly spread hand to hand... so, "shrugs"
But, by all means, don't use any, since it's a waste of money.
I thought you didn't read my posts.
Not sure about the hospitals in your area... but in mine they use GLOVES, which they change from patient to patient... so, "shrugs".
Oh, sometimes I look past the troll curtain to see what kind of useless sludge oozed out from under the bridge.
Every room in the last hospital I was in...
Yup... that's the looney bin hospital in Dallas!

Nice thing about trolls (the only thing): when they leave, you not only don't miss them,
sometimes you just don't notice they went.
Tick, tock.

+1
There's an article in a current magazine that says stay away from people that talk loud. Their big mouths spew a lot of germs.

I've seen paramedics grab a handful out of the box on the way out.

As someone who works in a hospital:
Hand sanitizer kills bacteria. Colds and flu are caused by viruses.

One would think this would be the last word on this subject, but I'm sure it won't be.
