Where are you all.....

Post by mckooi » Mon Jan 08, 2018 5:46 am

Hi Everyone,

This is been awhile I have not been active in cpaptalk and with the health scared recently. I thought of you all. Wondering where are you all....who come and go silently in my life.....Do you all know where are they......?

Rested Gal?

Snore Dog?
James Skinner?

Long gone (tho' JS did pop in once a few mos ago). Why not do a name search and see when they last posted? There are a couple of newer forums tho' where they might now hang out.

Did you get a new machine?

Long gone meaning? .....Are they still in good health or....just leave without saying goodbye or.....lost in the mist of our lifes?.....

Did not get a new machine. Someone with kind hearted is donating his used machine. Thankful for all the helps. Sometimes I just want to let go.....all. A goodbye would be meaningful to everyone. A thank you would make my journey less painful. I love you all.....

In God we Trust.

Sad to know. He is long gone. In my prayers.

What about Rested Gal? I was a very kind hearted person. I just long for her presence in cpaptalk. Any idea?

Take care.

As far as I know alive and doing well and she stopped by here last year I think it was just to say hi.

I used to have her private email address but the last time I tried to send her a note it got bounced back to me so I no longer have any way to contact her.

Hi Pugsy,

If you come across in the future. Please send my best wishes to her Rested Gal. Also share my email address with her. In my prayers. Thank You.

We all ride this train together, the commuters who sleep with hoses.
We make friends, help each other, and share tidbits of wisdom or even a chuckle.
When someone leaves, it is often without warning, or even a goodbye.
It was kind of Snoredog's family to let us know of his passing;
but when we know nothing, hope remains that our friend is doing well.
DoriC left when her Mike passed, but I miss her, as do others.

Hi Den,

You are right. Nobody knows when. Along the journey I would like to remember all those great and kind hearted in this forum. I would like to be remembered as the openly gentle smile with my cpap mask on. One day just one day.....in case you are in the clouded train station I am one of those who gradually disappear in the mist of the cloud without trail of sadness but smiling face with my cpap nasal mask.....just smile

Love

I follow James Skinner on Twitter where he regularly posts links to stories and articles regarding sleep.

Also ran across this story about his journey.

A few personalities from the old days might still be around, reincarnated with new names. Always nice when someone from the past stops in and says hi.

Thank You. Good to know you are still around. Surgery is very dangerous without knowing the consequences like JSkinner case. ENT surgeons like to do surgery but good ones are rear. Very rare.
