resmed airmini time zone

Post by Mr-Sleepy-Oak » Fri Jan 05, 2018 3:33 pm

Does anyone know how to change the resmed airmini timezone? One would think it would automatically adjust timezones since it's connected to phone bluetooth but it's not working for me.... the first few hours of my night's sleep have registered in the night before's sleep in the app ever since I've come to asia a few days ago from the USA.

First time using this little beauty. LOVE IT! For a frequent traveler like me, to say it's one of the best inventions ever is not an exaggeration. Will write a review for the board later.

No thoughts? For those of you that travel internationally, does the mini automatically change time zones for you?

I don't think any of the ResMed machine will change time zones like you want.
That's why they have clocks in the machines for users to set.
Becareful when changing the clock...historically ResMed goes forward easily but won't always go back so easily. Especially with big difference in clock settings that will put you back to where there might already be data on the machine for that time frame.

Hi,
Afraid I have disappointing news for you. I have a ResMed Autoset that I recently traveled to Hi, Australia, New Zealand, back to AU, then San Francisco and back to the East Coast of USA. Time was off the whole trip and by the point when I got home it showed 2 days ahead.

I’d leave the time and date alone - it then should match when you arrive back home. I had set it to AU time (ahead) when we arrived there and then I was stuck when I arrived home - date was 2 days in the future. ResMed does not allow you to set the date backwards. I had to go into the provider mode and reset/erase everything to default and then set the correct date and time. Odd thing was that all my settings were saved.? As I use a SD card and sleepyhead I really didn’t lose any data that I cared about.

This is for resmed S10

I recently traveled to India and back with S10. The clock can be changed backwards also, (as when I got back home to usa) but needs patience. Usually you can change the minutes or hours back a little bit at a time. So a couple of hours after you get up, you can change it back perhaps upto one hour. But I could not figure out the algorithm they use. Very often I simply will change the minutes back, say 10 or 20 min at a time, as long as it accepts it. When it prevents going further down, I go away. I simply come back after 30 min (it has to be before the hour advances) and lower the minutes as much as possible. Repeat this process. For me I need to get it back by 13.5 hours. I manages in a couple of days of patient repeating procedure :) Sometimes it accepts turning back the hour too.

It is simply amazing. It is as if no body in the whole Resmed engineering team never traveled across a time zone or realize people take their cpap with them when they travel :) They think, if they use cell phone, it magically sets itself to the correct zone :) :)
