Re: Sleep Doc Office Can't read SD card ????
... hours of run time.) Just too many Red Flags with this new Doc. She was going to set me up with a New DME since I've had such horrible luck with Apria. But it's been over a week and no contact from the new DME company yet. After not seeing a Sleep Doc for 8 years, I would have thought she would ...

Re: Is Medicare Crazy !?
Your doctor's Rx and Apria's filing for coverage should be enough --------------------> Medicare may continue to cover CPAP devices and accessories if you meet with your doctor in person, and your doctor documents in your medical record ...

Re: Is Medicare Crazy !?
Thanks for the info ejbpesca.
It must be something that Apria is doing wrong.
And I think since I used my primary care Doc for the Rx, he isn't familiar with the Medicare requirement.
But Apria certainly SHOULD be aware.

Re: CPAP Supplier Staffed by Real People?
... DME. They all give some pain. You try to get one that you can manage,,,, maybe with drugs! Due to my insurance requiring me, I had to use Apria (Crapria) for years. They were terrible, but I had no choice. I'm on Medicare now, and someone here recommended Aeroflow to me. They are not bad. ...

Re: Free AirSense 11 Humidifier Tank (New in Box)
I don't have any co-pay on my supplies, so that's not an issue. My DME is Apria Health and dealing with them over the phone is impossible, so I have given up.

... and I open the app and point the phone at the code and it loads that night's report onto my phone. Apparenlty it is also sending the reports to Apria. But this morning for the first time, no report. I slept 8 hours and didn't even get up to pee and was looking forward to a great report but nothing, ...

Re: Is Medicare Crazy !?
I have had Medicare cover my CPAP gear for 18 years without question. I have used 5 DMEs but not Apria. I have never found one of them to be to my satisfaction but at least the Medicare has gone well as it is currently. Your doctor's Rx and Apria's filing for coverage should ...

... an update. Apparently, there is a "compliance" team which is incredibly more competent than basic customer service. Eventually, they did find that Apria offers the Bleep masks. They put in a replacement order for me. She was not sure why the local branch couldn't locate it. They said I could keep ...

Re: How to force DME to provide a new CPAP unit?
Turns out Apria, despite claiming they have the Bleep mask ready for order, doesn't carry them. You might contact Stuart and tell him that Apria isn't carrying the Bleep/Eclipse despite their agreement to offer it. Stuart told ...

Advance supplies for extended vacation Medicare and Supplemetal
... not pay. I am leaving for an extended stay in Europe and will need my supplies before I return. Medicare will not approve supplies in advance and APRIA will not send me supplies in advance (unless I self pay) because Medicare will not approve. My doctor even wrote an authorization for pre-ordering. ...

HumidX source?
... a planned trip. I'm shocked by the cost. $46.50/6 with a 25% discount at CPAP.com is the cheaper of the two sources I tried first. (The other is Apria, my usual Medicare supplier. That's $53/6 with a 15% discount.) Is that as competitive as it gets? I know DME prices are inflated because insurance ...
