Re: Cpap not recording full night sleep
Is the time on your machine set correctly? Resmed says contact my cpap supplier, Apria says I didn’t get the machine from them originally so they can’t help, and directs me to my respiratory doctor and my doctor sends me back to apria ♀️. Who did you get your machine ...

Cpap not recording full night sleep
Hey everyone, I’m getting desperate for some answers and direction. Resmed says contact my cpap supplier, Apria says I didn’t get the machine from them originally so they can’t help, and directs me to my respiratory doctor and my doctor sends me back to apria 🤦♀️. I use my ...

Help! Shingles on face need new mask ASAP
... cradle type mask (not the pillows that go in your nostils) and would like to just order it off Amazon or something to get fast delivery. If I call Apria who knows how long before it will get here, although maybe that's what I should do if insurance is going to pay. I'm not even sure insurance will ...

Re: Lied to by DME (Apria), not sure how to proceed
... next step is to send the account to collections. Upon hearing from collections, inform them you dispute the charges, don't owe them anything, Apria needs to take your to court and to stop calling you. This is a fundamental misunderstanding about how collections work. To get SOME money, Crapria ...

Re: Lied to by DME (Apria), not sure how to proceed
Yikes I didn't think of what if the machine itself breaks. I can't imagine sleeping even one night without it and am wondering about when I have to travel. Do I take it or do I buy a smaller travel machine? Maybe that can be my backup machine? A lot of people are not happy with travel machines. Oft...

Re: Lied to by DME (Apria), not sure how to proceed
I have my 5 year old and my 10 year old machines that still work. I keep them packed and ready to go on a trip. In my opinion the mask, hose, extension cord. etc take up enough room that the difference between a travel machine and a full size machine is trivial. Since I use an ASV machine there is n...

Re: Lied to by DME (Apria), not sure how to proceed
In my opinion everyone should keep a backup supply of one of everything, mask, hose, water chamber filters and maybe even machine. Things break. They usually break on Friday evening of a 3 day weekend. Having a spare relieves a lot of anxiety. Having an autoship pilling up multiple extras creates a...

Re: Lied to by DME (Apria), not sure how to proceed
Could the whole thing have been caused by trying to get it at 4 and a half years instead of the full 5 years? And some miscommunications with Apria, for example, the first person who said "insurance already approved it" might have meant they will approve a 5 year replacement like maybe they ...

Re: Lied to by DME (Apria), not sure how to proceed
Ugh, that sounds really frustrating. First off, definitely don't cancel your credit card right away, that could make things more complicated down the line. As for submitting the appeal, I'd focus on sticking to the facts, highlight that you were told the claim was approved, and now the DME is sayin...

Re: Lied to by DME (Apria), not sure how to proceed
Crapria has a well earned reputation. I have delt with them for almost 15 years. If I order 4 items, like a mask, hose, water chamber and filters it usually takes at least 5 shipments to get it all right. It is common for them to take an order, wait a month then cancel the order. When I call they sa...

Re: Lied to by DME (Apria), not sure how to proceed
"replace my current Resmed one that's about 4 and a half years old and malfunctioning ( though thankfully not in a critical way ). My 2 cents..... If the Resmed was still functioning and delivering therapy I don't believe you were eligible for a replacement paid for by insurance. If was malfunction...
