ahi still high

Post by debdix » Sat Dec 09, 2017 6:45 pm

I have just finished night 3 with my new Resmed cpap machine. I have installed sleepyhead, as well as MyAir. Both have not given good results! According to MyAir, my AHI is still 12 and I had poor mask fit. I checked it thoroughly when I put it on, so not sure why it would leak. I was not aware of any sounds of air escaping etc. My pressure is fixed at 17. Would adjusting this improve the AHI? I have tried looking at the videos on the myair site but not much help

What kind of mask are you using? My leak rate went way down when I got a better mask, and I started feeling better within days of that.
