Mobility

Post by Josiah » Tue Dec 05, 2017 7:30 pm

As someone who has not yet come face to face with a CPAP machine, but who anticipates needing a full face mask, I'm wondering if I have to get up and get out of bed in the middle of the night (RLS) will I be able to do it without removing the mask?

There is a quick connect where the hose meets the mask (at least on my Quattro, anyway). it pops on and off fairly easily

Yeah, with my AirFit F20 there's a similar thing. Comes off in 2 seconds, and reattaches just as quickly. Make sure to turn the machine off first, though!

If your mask doesn't have a quick disconnect feature, simply pull the hose off of the mask, then put it back on when you get back into bed.
