Has this ever happened to you?

Post by Newbie312 » Wed Nov 15, 2017 5:34 pm

I'm still waiting on results from sleep study and have just been exhausted for a long time now. I went to call the doctor's today and I literally started crying uncontrollably which is not like me at all. I did get appointment but has this ever happened to any of you?

Yes, when I am feeling exhausted and frustrated. Can't help it.

Can't say that has ever happened to me. I'm a 55 year old male though, that is also a member of one of the last generations that were taught,...."men don't cry."

If it needs released, by all means let it out.

Before starting cpap, I was often weepy, and at other times, I had a short, unreasonable temper.
This improved considerably once I went on cpap.
Quality sleep does help improve mental and emotional functioning.
Not everyone will have such significant results, so my fingers are crossed for you.

Ok well at the risk of extreme ridicule lol.
I am a Man (actually have 2 man cards to prove it in truck!) And also a Veteran from Marines. I never cry and honestly that's why it scared me so much that I would cry for no reason. It was embarrassing to say the least when I was having trouble talking trying to schedule an appointment ! This was all the while driving to work.
I'm just so exhausted something has to give so hopefully Friday they can do something so I can rest or something.

Also a man, and had a lot of time feeling weepy. Tiredness will do that to you.

The US medical system moves slowly for some things, Sleep issues seems to be one of the slower. Took me months to get the verbal assessment, months more to get to the first overnight, months more to get to the titration then 3 weeks to get the CPAP. All in all, it took me from June 2016 to March 2017 to get through the process.

I think tomorrow I'm going to call sleep study place and ask that if they do have results to pass then on to my doctor if possible to get this ball rolling.
I have been reading and if I do has SA I plan on asking to do the take home titration study so at least I get a APap to use right away. That's if I understand that option correctly instead of overnight titration.
