Quattro™ FX For Her Full Face Mask

Post by carol oliver » Wed Nov 15, 2017 10:58 am

Hi, I haven't been on for a while. I was formerly Portageegal, but couldn't log on.

I am wondering about the Quattro™ FX For Her Full Face Mask. I have been trying the new F20 mask and for me it doesn't work. Leaks like crazy and my neck hurts from trying to keep it in place while I sleep. My pressure is 12-17. What concerns me is the exhaust holes. Does the air being blown annoy you? The F20 drives me crazy. I am a side/stomach sleeper.
thanks in advance.

I'm a stomach sleeper and there is no FFM that has the vents or the hose mounted where they should be, so the hose gets in the way, the mask is too big and gets easily shoved out of place, and the vent always blows back in my eyes.

Let me know if you find a miracle mask....

Max: Your whole problem is your attitude plain and simple. You have had MANY suggestion but decide that ìt wont work, or heaven forbid trying it out.....without giving it a chance.
YES you can sleep on your stomach with a full face mask, many of us have and do.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

What do you mean "my attitude"? I have tried many masks over the 7 or 8 I have been on cpap and trying masks.

I have been using an Amara View for a month or so now, and it DOES NOT WORK for the reasons I listed. I end up taking it off every night just to get back to sleep after IT wakes me up.

Just how long counts as "giving it a chance"? Months? Years? Decades?

For me a week is plenty long enough, and I have gone way past that - it still doesn't work, and nothing will make it work.

I'm on SS, so medicare pays so i can only get a new one after 3 months. For the first time ever I threw away my old quattro, so have been stuck with this one for almost that long. can't wait to try something else.
