Resmed Airsense 10 malfunctioning?

My machine settings are 5.0-7.4 but sometimes the pressure randomly goes to 10 (above my max setting) and stays there, waking me up. Then the auto off feature is disabled and when I take it off my face it just blows until I turn it off. I'm also noticing that when this happens, the air coming out feels super hot and moist like I'm breathing in a sauna. Sometimes this happens after the machine has increased the respiration rate and I feel like I'm hyperventilating if I try to keep up with it. Unplugging and resetting it sometimes works but not always. It's clearly not simply the result of an apnea as it will happen repeatedly in the same night, even when I'm awake and breathing normally. Anyone know what's happening and how to fix it? Machine is two years old and self-purchase (no insurance) so don't think I'm within any kind of warranty or repair period. Ideas? I really needed sleep tonight...

ETA: I'm using a P10 nasal pillows mask, climateline, and operating on 12v power supply, new humidifier chamber and relatively new mask. Humidity set to 4 and hose temp of 73. Apnea well controlled with an AHI of 1.9. Been on cpap successfully almost 7 years.

My P10 nasal pillows mask is relatively new -exhaust holes not blocked, machine on airplane but I have no DME (machine was a cash purchase from cpap.com) and my doctors office has never had access to it so they're not changing settings. But as you can see from picture, the actual pressure exceeds the settings. I know how to get into clinicians menu. Not sure how to update software if that would help.
