Airsense 10 Autoset Clinical Manual
Airsense 10 Autoset Clinical Manual
Hi All.
I have a pdf copy of the Clinical manual for my Airsense 10 Autoset, but wonder if there are OEM copies available anywhere.
I know I can print one from the pdf, but would rather have the nice little booklet.
I believe the Clinical manuals used to ship with the machines, but the DMEs remove them before delivery to the patient/customer.
I still don't think that legit, but I get tired of fighting with them all the time.
Thanks !

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Clinical Manual
The clinical manuals do not ship with the machines. They are sent separately to the DME when they are contracted to sell/provide them. Even the sleep doc doesn't have one unless they also sell machines although I expect that the manufacturer would send one to a doc who requested it. Just print it out, if you need it that way, and bring it to a copy shop to bind.

Buy one from CPAP dot com, and see not a crooked DME. While you are there,(the crooked DME, buy your SD card from them too. JimSewTired wrote:The clinical manuals do not ship with the machines. When I got my S9 5-6 years ago, it shipped with the clinical manual packed with the machine.SewTired wrote:The clinical manuals do not ship with the machines. I managed to get the DE to give t to me at that time.
Wen I got my S10 several weeks ago, the M did give it to me in the factory box. It was a new machine (Zero Run Hours), but no Cinical manual and NO SD card.
I bought my own SD card and will print off the maual so I have a hard copy.
Thanks.

Do you mean buy the clinical manual from CPAP dot com, or the machine?Goofproof wrote:Buy one from CPAP dot com, and see not a crooked DME. I hated dealing with the DME (Crapria) for my first machine, I did end up buying it from our sponsor.
The next machine I did get it from my DME since was covered 100%.
Thanks !

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Clinical Manual
Yeah, I don't get that about why an SD card isn't included inside. My machine had the SD card in an SD card holder and the DME added it to the box, so maybe it's a separate purchase by the DME? Don't know. Unfortunately, the people who are getting screwed the most haven't investigated this stuff before purchase.

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Clinical Manual
I had read that some people DID get an SD card with their machine, and others didn't.
No way to know if the DME had removed the SD card prior to delivery or if the machine is now shipped without an SD card.
I am more inclined to believe the DME removed the card and will try to sell it to other customers.
I bought a SanDisk 8GB card for $8.00 so it's not the end of the world... but I'd rather keep that $8.00 in my pocket.
Plus, I HATE that either Resmed or the DMEs are screwing us over.

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Clinical Manual
I found out that ResMed stopped sending SD cards with the machine because most people don't use/need them as long as their DME/Doctor is in AirView and is able to get the reports. I got a bunch of machines in and thought the same thing to myself. Makes no sense..just send the things!
Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Clinical Manual
In Australia so no dealing with DMEs, but I got a new Airsense 10 Autoset last week from a Resmed-owned retail outlet and it came with the SD card right out of an unopened box.Jami wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 11:46 amI found out that ResMed stopped sending SD cards with the machine because most people don't use/need them as long as their DME/Doctor is in AirView and is able to get the reports.
