Weed for cpap--huh?
Proof exists for its usefulness with glaucoma.
If I get high, how is it supposed to help me BREATHE?
No, thanks--besides, it is illegal here, and will likely always will be.

We found ditchweed in the alley once, but it's gone now.
No doubt somebody smoked it.
At least they were too stoned to steal the aluminum.

Probably left school to smoke before they learned that Aluminum was in more than beer cans. Jim

It's mildly interesting... would want to see more research before considering.

You should be apologizing for your title. Marijuana was not used in the study.

The drug that was used in the trial linked to is called Dronabinol and is available by prescription in the U.S, *Canada, Germany and New Zealand. Its use is mainly, but not limited to, reducing nausea in cancer patients undergoing chemo.

EDIT: not available in Canada as of 2012. Discontinued.

Not an expert here--but medical marajuana is now used for several things with good results. If my Dr said it was okay I probably would give it a try. The dreaded mask could be long gone. Doubt it--but who knows.

Really ... there's no need to apologize. The forum snowflakes will survive despite their silly melt downs.

Dronabinol is commonly know as THC or medical marijuana.

OK, dronabinol is SYNTHETIC THC, not the original plant.
Still illegal in the bass-ackwards states like Nebraska.
If my glaucoma gets worse, I may have to move to a less regressive, less STUPID place.

However, expanded and pivotal clinical trials must still be conducted to fully establish the best approach to cannabinoid therapy in obstructive sleep apnea.
Sign me up...either one real or chemical...where do I go?
I would be happy to be part of the expanded trials.

Looking forward to my Christmas visit to Las Vegas.

Next year marijuana is going to be legal here in Canada and I am definitely prepared to try some out to see how it affects my sleep and AHI.

I use CBD oil to help me get to sleep. Very little THC so it's legal and it helps tremendously with my insomnia.
