I go to the gym at least twice a week because this dreaded sleep has eaten away a lot of my musclemass. Gaining Musclemass and losing fat has been an uphill battle. Unfortunately, there are downsides to getting deep sleep when you suffer from possible sleep apnea. I enter into REM sleep but I tend to wake up in the middle of the night sometimes I struggle to breathe or move and I get this AWFUL feeling like I am about to die. I had the mask on but the pressure wasn't enough when I needed it to keep it open. I was trying to breathe in but I couldn't because I hadn't gain full consciousness yet. It was 30 seconds of extremely scary moments that I want to forget.
On days that I don't go to the gym, I still wakeup and it's frustrating going back to sleep.
Yesterday I turned off EPR(it was my day off from the gym)but felt worse with it off...than on. I am not sure what to do.
If I don't have the mask on, I get night sweats and seriously start to burn up.

No info - what machine do you use? What mask? What settings? Help us to help you.

Resmed Auto sense 10 - pressure min: 8 max 15 but the pressure hovers around 10.3 - this is during non working out daysJulie wrote:No info - what machine do you use? What mask? What settings? Help us to help you.
Mask in the N10 Nasal pillow.
When I go to the gym the apneas are virtually non-existence however, I come out REM sleep unable to gasp for air.
Re: Last Night was Horrible
Can you post some Sleepyhead pix (if you don't know how we'll tell you), but not directly onto the forum...
