Call from the doctors office

Post by itsjustme8 » Mon Oct 09, 2017 7:33 pm

I spent $900 for an inconclusive in home study. Met wth a new doctor and the initial assessment was $500 (insurance covered half).

A hospital study was going to run $2000. I said, that's it! Went on Amazon, bought a Resmed Airsense 10 and took a guess on levels (watched YouTube to see how to get into clinical settings.

Doctors office called to see if I wanted to schedule the overnight study. I said I'm all set. The doctor then called an hour later. I told her I'm all set and she was pushy and asked "how can you know how to set your levels?"

I'm doing just fine! What a gimmick

Which AirSense 10 machine did you end up getting?....one of the AutoSet models I hope?

Congrats on taking the bull by the horns. Odds are you will be able to get things figured out quite easily and fairly quickly.
It's not rocket science.

I have it on good authority that a lab study is needed for cases of UARS.
