Starting new machine tonight, Airsense S10 Autoset

Post by Badger47 » Thu Sep 21, 2017 5:20 pm

I just got my new machine today and I will start using it tonight. My new machine is a Resmed Air Sense S10 Autoset with F20 AirTouch full face mask. I've been on CPAP since 2010. My current machine is a RESmart™ Auto CPAP Machine with RESlex with Heated Humidifier. I've been having issues with it lately and my new insurance opted to replace it with a new machine.

I've been reading up on the new machine and had a briefing with my DME when I picked it up. I've also signed up for myAir and registered the machine. Are there any quirks about this machine I should be aware of?

Here's the manual

I have been using the for Her version of it for about a month now. I love it.

You can use SleepyHead with it and see your data if you are interested. It's much more detailed than what you will get with the MyAir stuff.

Have just started Cpap and only know the res med machine. I have a few problems--but I do not think its from the machine.

Pugsy,

Thanks for the info and the manual. I have Sleepy Head installed on my computer but had forgotten about it. I imported my data into Sleepy Head and I'll try to stay on schedule for weekly uploads.

The S10 is much quieter than my old machine. The F20 is much more comfortable than my old one and it seems to have a better seal. So far I'm really liking this new machine.

No such machine as an Airsense S10...
