Blocked. tubing

Post by DAYMX5 » Wed Sep 13, 2017 4:09 am

Last night I woke up barely able to breathe. I realized that I was not getting any air from my air sense 10. I looked at the machine and it said blocked tubing. I checked all the tubing and every thing was clear and the tubing was not kinked or bent anywhere. I hit the on off button several times and it turned back on. Anyone have any ideas why this would happen?

Check with your equipment supplier about which software version your machine has.
There was a software update a while back for just this "blocked tube" thing.
Maybe you need that update.

Thanks, I will check on that.

Shouldn't the machine update on its own? I know it calls in the results of the night each morning.

For a defect that serious, it should require a written recall notice, hope Resmed doesn't make Iron Lungs too. (They won't shipping from China too costly.) Jim

Actually there was an automatic update but maybe not everyone got it. I think it rolled out per the serial number of the machine.
And I don't know for sure that was your problem...so best to get it checked out either way.

I talked to my supplier and they said that they have never heard of this problem. Said that they will check into it and get back with me tomorrow. They said that they would trade out the unit if they can't correct the problem.
