Judging by the ridiculous statements above, Resmed is not above similar deception.
If the card needs replacement, where it comes from only matters if you can afford the difference.

The generally accepted internet etiquette is for the poster to provide a link to the information. That is if you want people to believe you , you would make things easy for them to do so. When you don't you just call them names and irritate them like a rash. Your choice.

Despite ResMed's dire warning....I have been using a WalMart Sandisk SD card in my last 4 ResMed machines and nothing bad has happened. Started because the dog ate one....and I lost one...so went to WalMart. Probably at least 2 years on this SD card.
With my new machines bought this year...I just set the ResMed provided SD card aside and continue to use the Sandisk and will until it goes bad.

ResMed likes to let on like only "their" name brand stuff is the best and anyone else's stuff is inferior or dangerous.
I don't know if it is a CYA thing or just greed.

FALSE, something did happen, Resmed didn't make any profit from you just for just for taking a generic SD card out of a barrel of SD cards, putting their label on it and putting it in their baggie. Jim
