Question about Dreamwear nasal pillows vs. Nuance Pro ones

Post by t0mkatt » Mon Aug 14, 2017 1:26 pm

Just wondering for anyone who's owned both, is there any correlation between the pillow fit? I'd like to get a Dreamwear, but I'm torn on the pillows vs. the standard mask. I was thinking to get the mask and buy the pillows separately, but I'm wondering if the opposite is a better idea. Seems like it'd be more expensive to do trial and error with the pillows.

For anyone who owns the Nuance and the Dreamwear pillows, how's the size correlation? I wear the large pillows on my Nuance. I'm wondering if it'd be the same on the Dreamwear.

It's been quite some time since I tried the Nuance but I am trying the DreamWear pillows right now and I imagine you would probably use the same Large size.
I normally wear an XSmall or Small in any other nasal pillows and that's what I used with the Nuance.
The DreamWear doesn't have an XSmall but I am okay with the Small...sort of wish there was an XSmall to at least try but there isn't.

Get the FitPack DreamWear Gel pillow package...it includes all sizes and the ones you don't use you can swap for the size you do use should you decide to keep it.

I like the DreamWear much better than I liked the Nuance. Mainly because of the headgear. I prefer the least amount of headgear and stuff on my face and head and the Nuance headgear sort of annoyed me. The Nuance pillows were nice though and I really didn't have a problem with them.
A plus with the DreamWear Gel Pillows is if you should decided you want to try the cushion version...it fits on the frame and all you need is a cushion.

Or if you want to get the cushion packaging first....get that one with the fit pack and just buy the pillow separately ....I am betting you will want the Large in the Gel pillows if you are using a large in the Nuance.

There's usually someone somewhere who might want to swap something pertaining to the DreamWear.

Where are you at in terms of getting registered and accepted here at the forum?
I would like to send you a private message and I can't do that yet until you are a formal member.
I don't want to ask you to post your private email address because then you will get tons of spam.

But...I got to thinking...I have a Large DreamWear gel nasal pillow that you can just have. I think someone sent it along with a P10 nasal pillow that I can use. I will never use the Large gel pillow.
If you want to buy the DreamWear Cushion Fit pack packaging you can just have my Large gel pillow. Save you a bit of money and won't have to buy it.

I need to know where to send it and you don't want your private information made public here.

That would be fantastic. I'm not sure how long it takes to get registered. I signed up this morning with the name "tomkatt" but so far registration hasn't gone through. I got a confirmation email stating I'd get another email once it was complete. Until them I'm posting like this, since the system tells me "tomkatt" already exists and I can't post with that name right now. I'll keep it in mind though and PM you once I get confirmation of registration.

Also, not sure why there's the "also posted as" info next to my username here. I've never posted here before today as far as I can remember, and none of those are usernames I would have used in the past.

Is that right? So if I buy the fitpack and just want the medium, i can return the large and small and they will send me 2 more mediums? the FitPack seems like a pretty good deal then from a value standpoint... but I didnt know they did this, i thought they just had return insurance to return the whole thing.

You misunderstood my swapping statement...the swapping is with other forum members who might want a size you don't need or want and have something you might want. We do it all the time among ourselves.

The return insurance thing...that's for the entire original package and all its original contents.

It's a forum software glitche that has to do with IP addresses that members have used in the past and the IP address you are using now.
Disregard it. We know it doesn't mean you actually posted as all those other people.
