Central Apneas
So I am looking at the machine today. Still trying to get used to the full face mask and finding that 'right pressure to fall asleep to and not wake up' but my machine as well as my sleep test was showing some central apneas.
Re: Central Apneas
If your sleep test had CA, the odds are you are going to keep some. The cpap CA can be a mix of real and getting use to treatment ca. How many are you getting an hour?

Re: Central Apneas
Are you for sure asleep when you see the central flags?
Are you seeing any OA or hyponea flags around the same time?

Re: Central Apneas
At this stage 3 an hour, if they are 10-20 seconds or so and not 2 minutes aren't an issue. You need an o2 reading to confirm of any are real. As pugsy is saying, there are a lot of reasons for flagged 'clear airway' CA events that aren't real central apnea.

You may be like me and getting a lot of SWJ (sleep/wake/junk) clusters as you're drifting off to sleep.
