Figure out exactly which model machine you have and request the clinical manual from here.
http://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p ... tup-manual
Instructions on what to do to request via email about 2/3 down the page.

Are you that lazy that you cannot write in a complete sentence?

you are a peach

i use text to speech ap

and what do you care
the info was correct and all there
and it was not even for you
It was poorly worded, and likely to confuse someone new.

It's much better to direct people to where they can get the manual, so they know what the settings mean.

You are telling him what you think is the way to unlock...you don't even know what version of Resmed that he has
=======
he asked how to unlock it to change settings

he did not ask what the settings meant
You are telling him what you think is the way to unlock without knowing what Resmed machine he has.

It may surprise you, but not everybody on the internet has English as a first language. If you want a job as the grammar or spelling police, you should add that to your signature.

To the OP - there are several Resmed models and accessing the clinical settings varies by the machine. In both the S9 and Airsense models of cpap and apap, holding down 2 buttons for 5 seconds or so puts you into the clinician mode. I also recommend getting a copy of the clinician's manual as mentioned. Knowing what the settings are will help you make decisions on what settings are best for your therapy.

Some other machines use a 2-button secret handshake.
Knowing WHICH 2 buttons is the trick.
Get the damn manual. It's FREE!
