First Sleepyhead Screen Shots

Post by Cpapian » Tue Jul 25, 2017 2:28 pm

This is my first attempt to post Sleephead data. While my results are better than my first sleep study, I think they could be better.

Definitely they could be better.
But then you already know that.

Definitely need to let the machine go higher than 12 (assuming you don't have a problem with higher) and most likely may want to increase that minimum just a little.

I figure if I am going to go to all this trouble to do this cpap/mask thing then I want to make the best of things if at all possible.
Your snores, FLs, OAs and hyponeas all point to the pressure not quite being optimal.

I would just increase the max first and then evaluate the minimum. Based on my past experience with very similar looking reports...I suspect 8 maybe 9 minimum will be needed and I have no idea where the max will go. My own reports I often saw 18 but only during probable REM periods where my OSA was worse.

try min 12 max 16 and see how that goes, keep raising the minimum pressure for the OA, till the ahi are well under 5. Then the forum can see if anything else needs to be done. It looks like you have also turned the flag for OA off in your event flag chart
It would help if next time, you show the details chart on the left hand side

try min 12 max 16 and see how that goes,
That's a really big jump for an AHI under 7 to do in one big step.
I don't see 6 cm increase in minimum being needed but if it is needed I would suggest going up in smaller increments. Much easier to tolerate and adjust to and might get lucky and find out that just a little bit more helps a lot more than expected.
Snores don't usually take much to kill them.
