Picking up new Dream Station
Picking up new Dream Station
Hi! I am picking up a new Dream Station machine tomorrow with heated hose and humidifier. I am replacing an old machine that I have had for 9 years. Excited about being able to get more data and track my progress. What do you recomend that I get? I have read a little about the Sleepyhead software. Is this what I should use? What do I need to do to get ir/use it? Anything else that anyone recomends? Thank you!

Which model Dreamstation? There are at least six models. One of them is a brick - not data capable.Bosguy36 wrote:I am picking up a new Dream Station machine tomorrow
I would not take delivery of a machine tomorrow unless 100% certain it is a data-capable APAP.

I think you will love it. The hose connecting at the top of the head gives you great flexibility. I do not use SleepyHead although it seems every one else lives by it. I just use the Dream Mapper that comes with the machine and it gives me the data I need as I have not had at issues to try and figure out.

An SD card for the machine (If it doesn't come with one). One of many acceptable ones - https://www.walmart.com/ip/SanDisk-32GB ... d/23350706Bosguy36 wrote:What do I need to do to get ir/use it?
You'll need an SD card reader. Most laptops have them built in.

If the old one is in working order, keep it on hand as a spare. I also recommend running it a few hours every week, just to keep it in working order and to keep the system clean.
