ResMed AirSense 10 whines

Last night my AirSense 10 started making this noise last night. I've only had it a couple of months. I'm not new to CPAP therapy....been on it for over 10 years now. My S9 needed replacing, so I upgraded.

If the person who made this video has a thread somewhere, I just can't find it! I've changed my filter, wiped out the silicone gaskets, made sure my humidifier was seated properly...nothing helps. I live in a dry climate, so I'm filling the humidifier tank almost every night.

Do I need to replace this machine?

If you got it from a dealer, go back to them first.

Happened to me. Machine was out of warranty. I ordered a new humidifier pan and it cured the problem.

Mine has done it a couple times.
Re-seating the water tank solved the problem.
I suspect the inside seal has gotten twisted.
If mine becomes less random, I can take it in for repair.
Right now, it is not repeatable.

Expect it to start leaking soon.

Mine does this as well. I am on my third AirSense 10 machine in as many months. Since I’m still under warranty they keep replacing them, but I have always kept the same water tank. I am not getting treatment, as after ramp up it starts whining, I wake up and can’t get back to sleep with the unit on.
