I use the Pur-sleep system and can't do without it. My numbers were all over the place until I got my new mask and started using the Pur-sleep system. Lavender is the only fragrance I can stand, but my AHI average since Dec 6, 2006 has been 1.0, so I'm not complaining!

Thanks.........I appreciate the offer, but I'm happy with Encore Pro and Encore Pro Analyzer. Just didn't know how to print that one page and you solved that problem for me.

Thanks, Goofproof. Seems like the long way around, but it certainly works.

When I first lay down, I find myself clearing my throat, coughing a few times, swallowing (a lot) and generally getting settled. (it's an old folks thing) I've noticed my machine records a lot of my antics as "events". I've tested it and tried to do all of that before "suiting up" and laying down, a...

Re: Mask Envy

[quote="momadams"]I've been using the Mirage Swift I for 6 weeks with great success. It doesn't leak, is comfortable (I wake up wondering if I've got it on), and I can't sleep on my left side anyway because DH objects to the wind tunnel effect. So why do I keep wanting to try out new masks? It's sor...

I tried 3 different masks before finding my good friend, the CL2. My AHI immediately dropped and has been consistantly low since. I finally settled on the large size nasel mask. My leaks dropped significantly and so did my events. Love the CL2. It may not be for everyone, but it's certainly worth a ...

Den,

No, I didn't get your e-mail. And, yes, it's on split night mode. Not sure how I did that. Thanks...............I'll change it.

It's CRAZY!!!!!!

I got my new auto-pap machine and CL2 interface back in March. My treatment changed drastically..............for the better, right from the first night. My AHI is below 0.9 95% of the time. But something really crazy has popped up just recently I don't understand. Starting with May 28th, the first 4...

Thanks, Linda. It did work out, but what I liked the most was the admission of wrong-doing on their part. Now I (and hopefully a lot of others) can travel knowing the correct rule. Someone, way back when, mentioned "it wouldn't hold up in court", but as far as I'm concerned court has adjourned and w...

About all one can do is to take a copy of the regulation (which I've printed out previously in this thread) and present it if there is a question........and if you are still denied access, respectfully ask for the Complaint Resolution Official and show the regulation to him/her. If they still choose...

You're trying hard, I know; but, until you get all the pieces of the equipment puzzle in place -- mask that suits you, leaks under control, feeling comfortable wearing all that 'stuff' -- I wouldn't start counting yet. Start counting how long you've been using CPAP after you get those things sorted...

Whine all you like! There's nothing about this therapy that any of us would call "fun"! I've been on my machine since last September and have yet to notice a difference in how I feel. Sorry, but that's just a fact. I haven't lost any weight. Haven't lowered my blood pressure. Still am yawning all da...
