Denny, I use the CL 2 also. I find that about every third night I need to change from the basic pillows to the nose "mask"..............and then back in about 3 or 4 nights. That's one of the benifits of the CL 2. By alternating interfaces, I stay fairly free of pain. Works for me. You might try it.

My girlfriend and I took a cruise in Feb a year ago. She started using her CPAP machine 5 days before we left. There were no problems on the trip. The inspectors knew exactly what her machine was and we whisked through security. She took her own distilled water, but later found it was available on-b...

Laura, I'm not the average person, I guess. I started this difficult therapy in September of last year. Just in about the last month or so I've finally started being able to sleep all night without ripping the mask off. Even now I find myself, at the end of 6 or 7 hours, taking it off and sleeping a...

The first time I swallow after turning on the machine while wearing the mask, my ears stop up. Sometime during the night they unplug, and the pressure in my body seems to equalize and I can swallow all I want with no problem. It's just irritating when I first go to sleep.

sleepyhead63, Go ahead and take a night off. But don't give up on your therapy. This isn't something that will go away just because you lose some weight. Is it fun to sleep wrapped up like a mummy? Heck no.................but it will save your life. Losing weight isn't necessarily going to save your...

Fatigue and forgetfulness. Those were my only symptoms. Of course, I'm getting "long in the tooth", so those could easily be attributed to that!

WOW!!!!!! Are you ever lucky. I wish that would happen to everyone.............maybe more would get on the therapy. As it is, too many people start it and give up. I know of several who have. It's a shame too. Stick with it and it'll work, sooner or later.

Sleepytom,

I found a combination of mouth/chin strap worked for me. I made 4 different designs of each before I came up with a combination that worked, but work it does!

Wistful, I really think it's something that is strictly individual. I started my therapy last September and even though I'm finally starting to sleep 6-9 hours a night, fairly comfortably, I'm still not waking up in the morning feeling like a million bucks. Things are better now than a month ago. Th...
