I know of at least one ST user on the forum but I am confusing several names in my mind. PM rested gal, I know she will know who it is.

christinequilts - she has central sleep apnea and uses a Respironics BiPAP ST The "ST" stands for "spontaneous timed".

Meister, click her name to go to the Profile where you can click again to "read all posts by christinequilts." She gives excellent information and is very much willing to help people.

Thanks rested gal, that was one of the two names I was thinking of... I knew you would know. The ST crowd need all the support they can get. Makes me feel lucky.

I am a ST user and had your Bipap for a few months before it was switched for the Synchrony ST. What questions do you have?

meister-

I replied to your PM but I'm not 100% sure I clicked on send-lol. Let me know if you don't get it.

looking for information

on what statistics would be reported if I used the AutoScan software
with this machine? Also looking for information about adjusting the
"transition parameters" which control moving from inhaling to exhaling
(not the pressures). Thanks.

I had the VPAP II ST but now use the VPAP III ST.With the VPAP II ST you have the quietest bipap that I have ever used (which is 4 different ones). The VPAP III ST is really loud! However, it has the most data available to the user, without the software, such as AHI, HI, leaks, etc.. I did purchase the Autoscan software, but I,m pretty sure that the VPAP II does not store data for it.
