Welcome, "Guest for Now" !

I too used the ComfortLite 2 SIMPLE CUSHION, and it worked pretty well.

Then I finally tried the Oracle mask, and have had NO problems for two weeks now. I need to tape my nostrils shut.

Anyone heard of the "SAT" bed?

I'm in the market for a new mattress! I know there was a discussion some time ago, but I don't remember this mattress being mentioned. They advertise that it is used in all rooms of the St. Jude hospital, etc., and is endorsed by the medical community. You can see it here: http://www.satbed.com/sat-...

Snorkel,

I've had ongoing sinus & congestion problems.
Have used the Neti pot, which helped.

I'm currently using the Oracle mask, which is working OK so far (1 week); you might want to look at it.

Sorry about your nasal problems; they can be difficult to get under control.
Good luck.

I also stopped moving around all night once starting xpap. I would wake up with a slightly stiff neck almost every morning. I started using the papillow and haven't had a problem since. I can now sleep on my side, back, or tummy with no pain at all. It may be you just need a new(better) pillow. Bre...

... I have not drooled with this mask. I'll post it if I do. [/color] We'll need pictures ... w/ close ups ! LOL !! Right, DreamStalker!! Reminds me of a Rabid animal, frothing at the mouth! So, NOW I have to add a camera to my overloaded nightstand, eh? . I can only say: "You'll be sorrrrrrrrrryy"...

I agree with Peter. I no longer toss and turn at night. I wake up in EXACTLY the same position I fell asleep in. If my arm is up under the pillow when I fall asleep, it is there when I wake up, and it HURTS. My husband kindly massages it for me in the morning. I also wake up in the same position as...

Good point, Rooster! But...it 'could' depend on the office manager at the LOCAL office too. I've seen that happen. Greed again. I figured it was the DME 'Apria', but wanted to make sure. My last dr.'s office assistant automatically set up an appointment with me to go to Apria for my needed supplies,...

Is Apria a DME?
My DME never did any 'compliance' checking; it was done by my doctor.
If that's the case with you, I would talk to your doctor.

Who's going to tell me they didn't drool like crazy with this mask. And the plugs they give you don't work so make sure you have some close pins for your nose. Good luck, people. neverbetter: I just did ! I have not drooled with this mask. I'll post it if I do. And you don't need clothes pins or pl...

Ah, GREED! One of my pet peeves. Can you imagine what just ONE day without greed worldwide would be like? ...and I mean greed in all forms - cutting in traffic- there are so many of those 'little' ones that really can set someone off, or ruin an afternoon. Goodness, just think - the callers into tho...

I'm glad to find I'm not alone in my liking this mask. Yes, Snoredog, I know what you mean! But this mask & I got off to a better start than others; I'll check back w/results of this 'affair' in about 6 weeks. I don't have any drooling problems with THIS mask. Since I don't use the nose plugs, (I ta...

Tried the ORACLE, and LOVE IT!

Due to prolonged congestion, I decided to try the Oracle. I needed to do this on 'blind faith', as none of the local DMEs carry it. I was surprised at how small it is - has the makings of a Comfort Lite 10 !! I have Bruxism - clenching type, and previously needed to use a 'boil & bite' device. Anoth...

Yeah, I didn't know how to deal with that. I guess ebay isn't the best place for something that has a questionable market. The funny part is, when I bought it there was someone else bidding like crazy. Thanks! Gregg - There are a LOT of similar items on eBay; a lot of it is just 'timing'. I purchas...

Re: Appreciation

I am new to this forum and at first found it hard to find my way and keep on top of postings that were quickly buried. I reached out and asked members for help. In a more formal and organized forum, I'm not certain I would have felt as if my quest for help would be welcomed. The formality would lea...

SleepFitness : I agree that GENERAL TOPICS could be separate, and may make discussions & comparisons easier. Also, the posts would not get 'buried' as quickly. Keep in mind that 'newbies' may not know exactly which category to post their questions, because they have so many in the beginning - at le...
