I currently use the Swift FX, and am happy with everything except the direction of the exhaust - right at my husband. Where does the Aloha exhaust?
Thanks!

Good for you Kyndcookie! Your attitude will help you through any obstacles you may have, along with the good people on this forum. It takes a little while to recover from the sleep deprivation - so be as good to yourself as you can in the meantime.

Re: After a year of bliss - now my mouth opens. Help!
Hi Kirstena, I recently had the same situation going on. Mouth so dry there wasn't a molecule to start salivating with. Mine was due to a malfunction in my Puritan Bennett 420E pressure sensor line. The machine was pumping its little heart out! Here's what I suggest: check your machine carefully (wh...

Re: Intellipap and SmartLink - Can't Figure it Out
Sorry - I wised up and listed the proper equipment under my profile. I am transferring my data from the APAP to the SD card, and importing it to the desktop from the SD card. All I get is the "Dashboard". I know there's more information there, and I want it.

Intellipap and SmartLink - Can't Figure it Out
I recently bought the Intellipap with the complete software package, and although I am an engineer, I cannot figure out how to use the software. I'm really feeling stupid. Do you have to hard-connect your machine to your computer, or can you just transfer data via the data card? All I can get in Sma...

Re: Do I need a Sandman??? (could use Snoredog's Advice)
Hi Bluebonnet-Gal, I'm so happy that you're on the CPAP journey with us. I remember my first few weeks on this forum and with my new "sleeping partner". It was daunting, but at the same time such a relief to finally get some sleep. As the others have said, there's a lot of variables to the process o...

http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t219/tangledintangents/2007-05-19.jpg If you look at the Cycle States graph, your ideal plot would be straight across, at the top of the graph. On the Pie Chart, that correlates to 100% "Normal" state. I think the other categories on the pie chart are "Intermediat...

Re: Rest in Peace
Oh, man, I can't believe it. Cristen and Ali, I'm so sorry for your loss. To lose your Dad so young is just plain cruel. He would speak often of his health journeys, always with the goal of helping others find their way. He was so proud of you two. It was very nice of you to find your way to this fo...

Re: Headrest deconstruction and gender
Ozij,
I didn't mind the headgear, but it rubbed my hair off. Plus I had to wear my hair in a ponytail for another anchor point, which stressed my roots too.
Nice poll, I'm curious about the results!

Re: Machine for newbie
I would never argue with Slinky - she knows her stuff. However, I love my Puritan Bennett 420E. The ONLY thing missing is exhalation relief. Otherwise it's a great little machine.
Good luck with your titration and machine acquisition!

Hi Jack,
My hands-down favorite is the Headrest Nasal Pillow. Great for side sleepers.
Good luck choosing,

Greetings, Billmanweh!
Looks great, I agree that you shouldn't change anything. More pressure may make your leak rate to up, which I find less restful. Good for you - you really stuck with it, and I hope you're now getting the rest you deserve.
Take Care,
Cathy
