Contact whoever you got your last cpap from. They should have all your info. Hopefully, you already have copies if you need to use another DME.

When I turn it on, it makes a very loud air sound. It is 5 years old also.

Sorry but this tells us nothing. There is no such model number. Did you maybe take this number off the humidifier???

The reason we ask for what you were using is because there are several models within a series and maybe you are using a specialty model for a specific problem and what we might normally offer as a good model won't meet your needs.

What does it say on the face of your machine? All the words?
There should be a model number on the bottom of the blower unit...what does that say?

It does appear that you might have a ResMed machine in the S9 model line.
Does your machine look like this?
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... ap-machine
If it does...what does it say up by the round on/off button?

If it doesn't look like that picture...scroll through here and find the one it does look like.

It is an S9, I only know because when I was writing down my machine's particulars, I noticed there is the alphanumeric "IP21" on the back. -I don't know what it stands for either, and maybe it's on other models too?

The answer is already here in this thread.
