Hi There, I think we have all experienced your pain. I do have a couple of questions: 1) Did you stop using the nasal pillows because of your mouth 'blowing open', or mouth breathing? If not, I would keep trying different nasal pillow type masks. There are several to choose from, and yours is 'out t...

The results are in???

What happened? My 4/04/2006 sleep study results are in. They are saying I do not have OSA. This is quite strange, because my 2001 sleep study recorded over 50/hr AHI. No, I haven't lost (or gained) any weight. I stopped CPAP in late 2001, because I discovered the symptoms went away if I slept on my ...

CL2

I'm an old male with a small head (6 7/8). I recently re-started CPAP after quitting for 4 years. The only other mask I have is a 2001 Adam Circuit. As far as the CL2 (with pillows) is concerned, I am getting along with it very well. For me it's good points are: 1) It's very quiet. 2) I LIKE the elb...

Exhale...

Have you tried one of the newer machines with relaxed exhalation, such like Respironics c-flex? As I recall these wern't available until 2004. Also, the nasal pillow masked have been improved. There is a lot of difference between the Adam Circuit of 2000 and the Aura, Breeze, or ComfortLite 2 of tod...

Head Cold?

I've caught a bad head cold. When I tried to do CPAP last night, I gave up after a while because I felt like I wasn't getting enough air into my lungs. was this a 'real' lack of volume or was my body just thinking up excuses to pull of the mask? I was using nasal pillows. Do most of continue as usua...

Rooster, Tonight will be my thrid straight trial of your tape method. So far, so good. I think I'll even try it without the chin strap. For years my problem has been having my mouth 'blow open' just as I start to doze off, and I'm wide awake again. You see, I don't have any 'real' molars, so the air...

I've had success with the pillows. I don't have any 'Direct Seal Cushions', but I do have a couple of 'Simple Cushions' I haven't tried yet. I really like the mask. I hope the headgear bands don't get too soft too fast. What advantage, is proposed by the 'Direct Seal Cushion'? Strange, but cpap.com ...

Pressure ?

A piece of info you may or may not know is, DME's sell the tech manuals
for most machines on eBay. Average cost is $6.00 for a download. Of
course, you can usually find this information, for free, if you are good, or lucky, with search engines.....

Break from CPAP

I can't resist telling my story on this thread. In early 2001 I was diagnosed with OSA. A sleep study showed very high AHI numbers. Therefore, I was put on a CPAP machine with a pressure setting of 10 cm/H2O. I tollerated the CPAP treatment pretty well using a non-heated humidifier and an Adam Circu...

Remstar pro vs. Pro2

I give up on the search engine..However, I'm sure my question has been answered before: What is/are the difference/s between the newer Pro's
(with Cflex) and the current Pro2?

CPAP Pro?

Strange, I ran a search of this forum, and didn't get any hits on this
product. Is this because it dosen't work, or because it's not sold by
cpap.com???

Has anyone tried it?

How do you keep it shut?

Ok, so who's this guy (DDS?) in Hawaii, who makes a dental appliance
similiar to the DIY mouthpiece. I've tried to make the DIY, but I can't
seem to bond the two pieces together......
