Sorry to ask another hybrid question... but it is a lot of $$ to outlay, so am trying to get all the info I can.
I am a side sleeper, and am wondering if any side sleepers use the hybrid and to what degree of success.
Thanks.

Laurie,
Of course you have many questions before getting an interface.
Yes you can sleep with a hybrid sideways. I do. It is not my regular mask though.
Like any interface, I think you should make final adjustments laying down the way you would be sleeping.

I always sleep on my right side. The Hybrid is a very good side sleeper.
However, don't point the exhaust ports at your bed partner. The effect is
similar to an AK47 burst...

I personally had a lot of problems with the hybrid as a side sleeper almost exclusively. I could never get the hose positioned correctly. If it was pointed up, then it was noisy as heck since I was sort of blocking the exhaust holes. When it was pointed down, I'd somehow manage to use the hose agaist the pillow as a sort of lever to make the mask come unsealed. I gave up and just went back to the Swift which seems to be the best mask FOR ME. I remember a few people had modified the hybrid with parts from another mask to get around similar problems. I'm still glad I have the hybrid though. I use it for the occasional weekend nap when I know I'm going to be sleeping in sort of an upright positon. I'm talking about a recliner. I can't stand to nap in bed for some reason. Weird I know.
