Although I did at first, I don't hardly ever clean the humifier chamber and never the hose and after a year I have not had any problems with anything. My feeling is that people run a greater risk of contaminating the equipment by touching it and through other sources of microbes in the house than th...

15 minutes per night is really alarming. Mine is about 1-2 minutes in apnea per night. I can give you a theory based on my own experiences. I'm a stubborn mouth breather and always have been at night. I currently use the swift with mouth taped and am doing pretty well. Well, I got the bright idea to...

When it rains, satellite doesn't work. They double send their HDTV signal, so the resolution is actually only half as good as they claim. I know DirecTV has the NFL package, but they really have a poor picture quality and their HD is even rougher. Especially since they also upconvert every signal t...

Sleepless, this is why you should be a hockey fan. Football is a frustrating sport. Kickoff, commercial. Timeout, commercial. Turnover, commercial. Touchdown, extra point, commercial. Kickoff three seconds later, another commercial. Let's not also forget that football is mostly a waiting sport. Six...

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about blarg? I do know that where I live the local cable company dropped their hi def feed of CBS mean that there were a bunch of really POd cable subcribers today (at least the ones with hi def TVs). I'm sure it was all about a few dollars. I get my hi def o...

I'm rooting for the Bolts. In other words, I just want a good game and I really don't care which team wins this year. As long as it's not a snoozer. I like both. Lovie Smith used to be a coarch here in St. Louis and my nephew goes to school in Chicago. I also have relatives in Indy. So, I'm staying ...

I personally had a lot of problems with the hybrid as a side sleeper almost exclusively. I could never get the hose positioned correctly. If it was pointed up, then it was noisy as heck since I was sort of blocking the exhaust holes. When it was pointed down, I'd somehow manage to use the hose agais...

Our mask issues might be a great way to weed out the "bad ones". Actually, this is brilliant. I think you can probably learn alot about a person by the way they react to something like this. Is the person selfish and more interested in themselves or do they really care out me and my well being. Sho...

I hear ya. But, you really only have 2 options in my opinion. You can prowl the malls for men who appear to have mask marks on their faces, (check for a wedding ring second) and go up to the ones you think are cute and ask them out. Your chances here are limited at best. Or you can just be upfront w...

I think I heard that chewing gum in public is illegal but other than that.... Seriously, I think they had a serious litter problem with it and the dictator dictated. I've heard it's a great place to visit. Kind of curious. Why did you choose it as a destination if you're not quite sure you want to g...

When I first started on cpap, I had that feeling you described of not really believing that I was going to be attached to this machine at night for the rest of my life. Coming up on a year on therapy and the results have been pretty good and worth the effort. What's interesting is that I actually lo...

I would suspect the water you are using before anything else. There is a school of thought that says you actually run the risk of making the thing you are trying to clean less clean by handling it and exposing it to the outside world. Wash the thing out once in a while, use the best quality of water...

Thanks Gracie. Food for thought and some research on my part is in order. The mind is an amazing thing. My whole family must be eligible for MENSA. We all tend towards the high strung. I never thought of it that way before but I think you are right. It does take a certain amount of abstract thought ...
