The Airsense 10 CPAP model is at the low end of the series. It provides no data for the user to monitor their therapy. Even though there is low usage, I don't think you will find a buyer on this board...especially at that price..

When compared to the current new price from the main sponsor of this forum ($758), $375 does not seem a bad price, for a machine that seems in good condition, and probably used for 3 months only.

better to put that 375$ towards a machine that has data.

$375 might not be a bad price when compared to online retail but it's not a particularly attractive price for most of the forum member here because of the model...it's a half assed brick fixed pressure machine....it does offer generic AHI but no event category breakdown (which can be very important sometimes) along with the 95% pressure. ..no graphs or anything but summary generic AHI. Might be okay for a travel machine for some people who don't need the detailed data.
Sometimes full data used APAPs of the AirSense model can be found for around $400 to 450....

Forum members here are notorious for being tightwads and I am no different. This model machine would have to be below dirt cheap to spark my interest.
I wouldn't even want it as a backup because it doesn't have the data that I might need and you never know when the backup might end up being the primary machine.

It's not a "junk" machine. It's a machine perfectly capable of controlling OSA, for the vast majority of people. It will show a summary on screen every morning of AHI, hours used etc.

Yes, it's not as advanced as more expensive ones, but lots of people won't need the more expensive ones, won't analyse data on Sleepyhead etc.

And yes, it would be perfectly fine as a backup machine, for a few days or a few weeks, while the main one is getting fixed/repaired.

Some people have spent too much time on this forum, and are losing any common sense...

if you're perfectly happy driving while blindfolded, then yes, it's a perfectly good machine,

to get poor results with.

"Blindfolded" infers that the machine would display not data at all, which is not the case. The vast majority of people can't really analyse/understand Sleepyhead data anyway, and just end up tweaking the machine pressure until the AHI improves.

Could be easily done with this machine, so it's a perfectly fine machine for a vast number of people.

Some people on this forum are becoming really as pedantic as those wine experts, telling than any bottle costing less than $100 is "junk", or those cyclists telling that any road bike heavier than 7kg is "junk".

a machine that gives you no useful information to better your therapy... no matter what you want to think, is much less useful.

It does not make it "junk" in absolute terms. It may be less useful to some "advanced" users, but the vast majority of people on CPAP only want to see a few things, like AHI, leaks and hours used, and this machine would display those.

you're more than welcome to your opinion, I think it's just as valid as your previous championing of the apex machine, which I see you found to be insufficient.

Wow, let's talk about the Apex then: I can't remember what was your actual recommendation for a small traveling machine, with integrated power supply, in that price range?

I can't remember saying it was "insufficient".

Let me guess: you are going to tell us the Apex machine is "junk".
