Have you run mask fit?
Probably won't fix the problem, but you'll feel like you tried something else.

Re: Proved yet again there're no cpap police
My numbers are awesome, but my "sleep hygiene" is off since my bed time wanders and my sleep time can be a bit fragmented at times (in multi-hour chunks). My sleep medicine doctor chats with me about why I'm not sleeping through the night. He takes a short history and finds I am in chronic pain that...

He can give his opinion and it is protected speech. The remedy for bad speech is more speech. You can sue him if you feel you have been defamed. You can sue him if you feel you relied on his opinion and it harmed you. You can sue him if you don't like the way he spells Bruce. Whether you win, lose o...

To the best of my knowledge, all posts (76 at present) are still accessible there. You may need to click on "NEXT" below the first page of comments and then click on "COMMENTS" again on that page in order to reach the second page of comments. Before I posted here that my reply was missing, I had ch...

Re: Attack on Cpaptalk, Sleepyhead, Mark Watkins by Psychology Today
They apparently removed my comments, although I'm still receiving reply email notifications. Had you seen mine there? I wasn't even personally offensive! Haha Looks like Psych Today has removed quite a bit of the commentary, including some of jnk's replies. Thanks for letting me know. I guess they'...

Baaaaah. I wish I had noticed he was a PhD before I posted my comments there. I was waaaaay too deferential to a non-physician. He's not one bit more qualified to weigh in on self-directed or physician assisted treatment than anyone here. Multiple posts there are allowed. You can take another shot ...

The wheezing is not normal, it is a failing machine.
I got a.machine from the DME with 900ish hours and it sounded like this: (YouTube video includedl)

Re: Cpap machine causes ear problems
Different people have different levels of pressure needed to affect their ear's pressure normalization anatomy, the eustachian tubes. That doesn't mean they necessarily have a disease. Are you on medications that can thin mucus? That can have an effect on eustachian tube activity. Another thing you ...

Re: Finding distilled water in Australia
Name-calling is often used when one cannot back up their assertions with FACTS. "Troll" and "bully" are just names--and should be regarded as meaningless, since they are EMPTY ARGUMENTS. DoriC would send you to your room(s) without a cookie. It's over. Stop flogging a dead horse, you are trolling.

Re: Finding distilled water in Australia
Still waiting for you to back up your allegation. This isn't apneaboard where people can spout any nonsense knowing that their feelings count more than actual facts. This is exactly why you're a troll. You're repeating a challenge that was abandoned. Because you can't let it go. I stated my opinion...

Re: Aerophagia
I have had it for the past 5 nights. I emailed my doctor this morning and should hear from him tomorrow at the latest. Apria said they would contact me to send someone to check the machine in a day or two. (for what Apria is worth.) In the meantime, what have you heard of that might cause this prob...

Re: Finding distilled water in Australia
thank you for reply, but, is demineraled water bad to use on cpap? no. it is not bad for the cpap. Exactly, since it's a good assumption the source water won't have a lot of impurities that would make it through the demineralization process, whatever it is. I feel it's important to note that using ...
