need DME for replacement control knob for S9 AutoSet

I have managed to lose the little knob on my ResMed S9 Autoset. I have not had any success finding a DME who has a replacement. Does anyone have any suggestions for where I might find this part?

You can always get on craigs list , find a junker with millions of hours, buy it for peanuts and there's your knob...

well, yeah, otherwise one couldn't take 'em apart

that said, any knob that fits would work.

On occasion, I have seen a pair of Vice-Grips used in place of a knob,
provided the shaft protrudes from the panel enough.
We had a TV with that solution, and the radio in one of our earlier beaters.
Upside---if you need the wrench for something else, it is right there!

You could ask secondwindcpap.com if they have a spare knob. They deal with used CPAPs, so they may have an old, junk machine that they can steal a knob from.
