Has anyone tried using the Respironics Dream Wear nasal mask? If so, can you tell me how well it works or doesn't work for you? Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Which one? There are 2 of them now.
The old cushion one and the just released gel nasal pillow.
I have tried the old in the past and just now on 3rd night of the gel nasal pillow one.

The old cushion one. I just saw it today and it looked pretty interesting.

I really like my Dream Wear mask (old version). It's very light and comfortable, easy to fit and easy to wear. I love that the hose attaches at the top so it's very easy with my hanging hose management system to turn in bed without dealing with the hose. It's quiet (some people complain of noise through the tubes when they lie on their sides but it doesn't bother me) and doesn't cause me pain. As my original mask ages, it's slipping when I turn, so I have to adjust it--easily done by simply pushing on it below my nose and it reseals--sometimes I have to pull the strap in back down (I always meant to sew some hook Velcro in that back strap but never took the time to do it).

I have a brand new one waiting for me (gotten for a good price on Amazon.com) but I'm about to go on a trip, and I'll swap it out after the trip (when I stay in motels, I find the cleaning fluid smells impregnate my mask and hose, even if I put it away every morning). (It's also my first air flight since starting CPAP and on a cheapo airline that charges for carry ons, so this is going to be interesting).

Overall, it's my favorite mask yet, but everyone is different, so I suggest you get return insurance if you are buying it from our hosts, just in case you find it doesn't suit you.

I liked the old one well enough but not enough to have it replace my nasal pillow mask.
It had some things about it that annoyed me just a little.

I liked it well enough to want to try the new gel nasal pillow version...so that's where I am at now.
It's going to be like any mask out there...some minor pros and cons probably but from what I have experienced so far no huge deal breakers or deal makers either.

Just got the small frame today...so going to try it and see how it goes. I am thinking part of some of the things that annoy me relate to the medium frame being a little too big. I never bothered with the small frame with the old version but decided to try it with this new version.
Once I have a little more time with it I will post an official review of the new version and probably tie in a bit with the old version.
Though I can tell already that I like it better than just the cushion. 7 years with nasal pillows only...it's going to be a really spectacular cushion only mask to get me to get real excited about a cushion. Just my own personal preferences and needs being a major factor. Nasal pillows are what I am used to and been quite happy with so no urgent reason or need to learn to like anything else.

I love my Dreamwear. The new nasal pillows are coming and I'm hoping that it will make it even better.

FYI, your cpap is a medical device, and not counted as a carry on for the airlines. No issue taking mine on planes even with my tablet in the same case.

Janknitz- it doesn't matter what airline you fly. If in the USA, the TSA makes the rules for all the airlines. Medical equipment does not count against your carry on luggage. And, it can not be taken from your person. (they can't ask you to store it somewhere away from you). If you want to see the rules, http://www.tsa.gov has it all.
I fly a really cheapo airline frequently, allegiant. Have no problems. Most airline personnel recognize my Resmed carry bag right away.

Ditto for me. Love my Dreamwear mask! But I do think I may give the new gel pillow version a try.

Yes, I'm aware of TSA rules and have my medical equipment tag.

I have the old pillow style Dreamwear and would love to move to the gel pillows. I'm wondering if the size and width of the new Dreamwear Gel pillows are the same size and width of the Nuance Pro Gel pillows.

Thank you in advance.
