I have been using CPAP for about 2 weeks and have noticed that the dark circles under my eyes are getting worse. I use the nasal pillows mask and have the dreamstation autopap, my range is 4-15. My AHI is low these days, anywhere from 1-4 and I feel pretty well rested. Wondering if the pressure from the mask sitting on my face or the air pressure could cause dark circles. I dont really have allergies either so I dont think it is that. Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks

Re: Dark circles from CPAP
Most likely nothing to do with CPAP, just coincidence, mention it to your doctor.

Clean the Mirror! The good news you woke up alive, warts and all, I'd take that as a positive. Maybe air is getting in your eyes, but we are getting older every day, it doesn't make my top ten list of problems, I just don't look into mirrors anymore. Jim

A bit more oxygen getting to your eyes and they are focusing better I can't see cpap being the cause.
