Sudden loudness of DreamStation?

Post by Michandola » Mon Apr 17, 2017 10:02 am

Last night was my 21st night using Phillips DS. I noticed that it was louder than usual. Any idea what contributes to the loudness of the machine? I checked for the leaks in the tubing. No leaks. Filters? Thanks in Advance.

Water in the humidifier somewhat muffles the sound of the machine...did you run out of water?

The water was ok. I checked that too and closed it. I went to the other room and the extra sound was gone. Maybe it has to do with the proper closure of the humidifier cabinet? I am always worried about the tubing leakage. I feel that they are the most fragile component of the machine and move a lot in the night.
