Yoga for a Sound Sleep
If you usually do not get a good sleep in the night, there are chances that you might be aging faster than you should. And you do not exactly feel at the top of the world, and your thinking would be confused, muddled. When we sleep, our body repairs on a cellular level and removes toxins. It is, therefore, necessary to get at least six to eight hours of good sleep daily.
If you are unable to sleep enough, yoga can help. Regular practice of yoga is known to cure several ailments, including insomnia or abnormal sleeping habits. Yoga helps unwind at the end of the day and gives better sleep at night.
A good sleep is within reach, and the often-recommended treatment is to establish a relaxing bedtime routine. The following yoga stretches can help you relax and enjoy a peaceful and great sleep.

i do not like green eggs and spam.
but yoga can be fairly life changing if one commits to a practice, even just a few days a week. it's pretty amazing how much flexibility one can gain and how much muscle one can build with yoga alone.
that being said, i will never click spam boy's link no matter how hard he tries.

This has been discussed on here a few times. There are ways of training to build muscle, build endurance and achieve flexibility that are much more efficient that yoga. i do enjoy yoga. i've also tried many other things. they worked too. i've been in fairly good physical shape most of my life. i weight trained and did cardio for most of my adult life. then i got ms which often causes me to have issues holding on to weights, as well as balancing them.
i had to lay off on weight training, though sometimes i do use kettle bells. i had a personal trainer for most of my 20's and early 30's. in fact, several of them were the ones who convinced me to get into yoga when i started having issues with my hands and my balance. i honestly thought it was stupid at first..silly. i was wrong. it worked for me.
i did yoga for the last few years of my 30's and got into the best shape of my life. at 40 i could do a handstand. the mental aspects were also beneficial.
but, purely anecdotal. it may not work for you or everyone. it may be silly. it may not be the most efficient, effective way to stay lean and flexible, but it does work for so many people.
that being said, in my post i did not suggest nor would i ever suggest it was the only way or the best way to build muscle.

because, to me...it is.
a lot of people aren't able to hire a personal trainer or go to a gym, or are not able to lift weights. yoga can be done anywhere by anyone, anytime.
you don't even have to say "namaste" and drink soy lattes to do it.
even though a lot of soccer moms swear by those additions to the practice.
